Karateschool Chushin Kyobiun Do
The karate school was founded in 1992 and has about 15 members, men and women aged 25 to 67 years. Our goal is to improve your physical and mental well beiing, we're not joning any national or local competition. But you can get the well-known colored belts with us up to and including the black belt. We practice the Kyokushin Karate style.
How the lessons are structured
With so many aspects to Karate, every training is interesting and challenging (both mentally and physically). Every lesson starts with a warming up and stretching exercises. You’ll then be taught various punches and strikes, kicks and blocks.
There are two training sessions per week: Monday and Thursday. Because basic material is always repeated in the lesson, it is no problem at all if it's sometimes not convenient for you to go to the lesson.
What you need to wear
The first three months tracksuit bottoms or shorts, a t-shirt and bare feet are all you need to get started. If you want to continue, you have to purchase a Karate Suit (called a Gi).

Spring break: Monday February 27 and Thursday March 2, 2023
Easter holidays: Monday April 10 2023
No lesson on Thursday April 27 2023
May holiday: Monday May 1 and Thursday May 4 2023
Then we will train at a different location
Ascension Day: Thursday May 18 2023
Pentecost: Monday May 29 2023
From June 5 on training in Werkmancollege (see e-mail)
July 10,13,17 and 20 training at a different location.
Summer holidays: Saturday July 22 to Sunday September 3, 2023

The membership costs are € 27,50 per month. No membership fee is paid in August.
You do not have to pay administration costs or commit for a specific period. You can cancel per month.
